Hi! I’m Maddie,

I've loved to write for as long as I can remember. In high school, I was involved in the school newspaper, yearbook ,and literary magazine, and I loved every second of it. In college, I took one creative writing course and knew that was where I was supposed to be. So, I became an English major and I've loved it ever since! After graduation, I'm heading to graduate school for Library Sciences! I'm a queer woman, and I have a podcast called "Queers These Days" with my friend, Nic! I love concerts, yoga, meditation, tarot, tattoos, and traveling!

I started Madly Hopeful way back in 2019 with my friend Hope. We originally used the blog as a way to keep each other updated on our lives and reviews of the latest shows, movies, and books we were keeping up with. While things have changed a bit on  Madly Hopeful, don't worry y'all, Hope has given me the go-ahead to make Madly Hopeful fully my own! It may look a bit different now, but my goal is still the same—to share my experiences and create a kind and safe environment for all readers!
